I was out thrifting yesterday and found this incredible set of sugar and creamer. I did some research and found that a company called David Douglas produced glass items such as carafes with the same pattern, aqua and gold pinecones. However, I could not find an identical sugar & creamer set. Furthermore, I am puzzled by the fact that the only marking at the bottom is a stylized L in a circle, like a handwritten L, which leads me to think they might be from a different manufacturer perhaps?

I can't help, but I just bought 5 tumblers at a sale that look like they could be part of the set (they have turquoise & metallic gold starbursts that look similar). ReplyDeleteOoooooo--I have the coffee pot! I had no idea this was a pattern. What a great set it makes. Unfortunately, I have no idea who made it. And I just noticed that I have another sugar and creamer set (in fact, I have three of them!) that must've had those metal holders. They're in a pink & gold floral pattern and I DO have the coffee pot for them. I'm going to post about this RIGHT NOW!
